"The Flyer" Shuttle

Commuter Service

North Natomas - Downtown Loop

The Flyer operates on a fixed route through the Natomas Park and Heritage Park neighborhoods. No reservations are needed. Riders must be a resident or employee of North Natomas, live within walking or short biking distance of the route, and be a member of the SMART Club.

Cost:  $1 per ride (starting January 2, 2006)

You may pay with cash to the driver (exact change only please), or you may pre-purchase tickets and receive a receipt for your employer reimbursement or tax purposes. Tickets will be sold in books of 10. If you ride daily, you will probably use 4 ticket books per month. You may purchase as many tickets books as you like, and the tickets are good for one year.

To order tickets, click on the link below and print out the form. Mail the form with your check and you will receive your tickets and receipt in approximately one week after your order is received.

Order forms will also be available on the shuttle - ask your driver.

Smart Club ID cards are required to ride the Commuter Service.  Sign up now to receive your card, keep updated on North Natomas TMA and Flyer news, and be eligible to win great prizes!

Riders may flag the shuttle at any safe location along the route in North Natomas - time points are given on the timetable to help you predict when the shuttle will pass your street. Hail the shuttle when you see it approach, and wait in a location that allows the driver to safely pull over to the right to pick you up.

The Flyer has eight shuttle stops downtown. Riders may not flag the shuttle downtown, but must meet the shuttle at a designated stop.
